bottom of page. Our primary goal is raising good dogs for good
people. We focus on exceptional health, the best of temperament and
excellent pedigree. All have champion bloodlines. I am with our pups
from the time they are born. I will ask you questions to aid in
matching personalities and the needs you will require of this pup.
Pups are vet checked with dew claws removed. Shots are current and
we follow a strict worming schedule beginning at three weeks of age.
We strive to raise the healthiest puppies possible and have invested
in well bred solid dogs. We consider it a service to provide you a
happy, healthy pup. Our pups come with a health guarantee and stay
until the second set of shots and 8 weeks of age. We can ship your
pup. |

We do reserve pups for folks
before birth of the pups. Sometimes families want a pup from selected parents or
special markings and are willing to wait for the pup to be born. Our
pups go rather fast and we have had many families that let us know what
they want and we pull it out of the next litter. Of course, we do honor
these folks first. As I have said previously on the site, I have had a
wait list from my very first litter. That is nothing new.
Now saying that, I will make
sure the personality is a match on a reserved pup just as I do on all
pups, before they leave here. Again, our pups do go fast.
I
can sympathize with folks when they have made up their mind to get a pup
and that they want it TODAY. But, you would have to be leery
of a breeder who always has a pup available that day. They would be over
breeding their girls and have an extremely large number of girls
available. That is a puppy mill. Otherwise it just would not be
possible.
I went to a fellow's place up in
the mountains one day to take a look at his girl I had heard about. She
was precious. She was seven at the time and after talking to him in
length I found she had never missed a season coming in without having a
litter of pups. He spoke of how much money she had made him. (He sold
his pups out of the back of the pick up for $150.) She was in wonderful
surroundings, lived in the house. This is not a puppy mill but poor
breeding. One of those buying from a home breeder where the puppies
are inside. I did everything I could to buy her, but he would not
sell. He said he loved her, she was the best dog he ever had.
We just do not
use our girls like that.
All pups will be listed for $650 with limited AKC registration (not for breeding). If full AKC registration
(for breeding) is needed it will be our regular price and an
additional $250 for full registration. Even though we have a strong
demand for our puppies we have not raised our price over the $1000 mark,
although we have paid that for pups ourselves in the past. We like the
homes where our pups are going and want to keep that type of customer
base. We are really enjoying where we are in life with our pups. Dog
food and meds are higher than ever but overall our people are the best.

Belle is one of my pups
as well. She is out of a breeding I had sent Josie to an outside
kennel years ago. She is a tank, but pure devotion and love bug.
She has 32 champions behind her in the US, AUS, MEX &
Canada as stated above. Her mom Josie is out of our foundation
stock.
Dink is the man. His dad is an
import out of Australia. When I first saw Tiger out of Mr.
Simmons dogs I knew I had to have a pup out of him. After about
a year Dink was my choice. He's 8 years old now and won't be
breeding that much longer.
He is mine and knows it.
We had my cousin Aaron looking after things one day when we were gone.
He is a canine officer and knows Dink. Dink is fine around him
everyday. That day when Aaron went into his kennel to change his
water Dink grazed his hand. Dink knew we were gone and felt like
Aaron should not be there. Aaron was shocked to say the least
and of course understood what was going on. He explained it to
me. Since this happened he has been fine
with Aaron, we have been here too. These dogs know more than
people think they do.
This is an example of the
personalities of these dogs. I am just being upfront. Everyone
of these dogs are different and you have to know your
dog. That is your responsibility. Dink will not bait or work for
food. He will drop it out of his mouth. He will not listen to
Bill. Just me. :) He's mine. I love the boy. I do not plan to
ever go to the nursing home as I age. Me and all of my dogs
would just not fit. We are going to fade off together.

Belle Dink
These pups are reserved for folks on our list
to have first pick.
This is one of the most perfect litters. They
are all pick of the litter pups. Their temperament is
outstanding. I tell folks after this many generations, the
surprise would be a pup I wasn't expecting. These are a good
example of that.
All of the pups are darker than the photo's. We do not
retouch, except for red eye. The flash of the camera lightens
their coat.

06/26/10 Baby
boy will be going to Carrie Jones in AZ. Carrie contacted us
months ago waiting for that special little boy. This baby is
exactly as Carrie ordered. He is meant to be a companion in
his nature. His is as gentle and sweet as they come. This is
one of those pups that would go out and work, but if the
kids are back on the porch, that is were you will find him.

If another
breeder does have one of our pups the parents will carry the Keller
name, Ouachita or Sapphire in their title. My kennel was originally
Ouachita Kennel for our county.

A true story! When we were living on
the mountain in western NC (2 and a half miles up) one of my
three month old female chunky blue girls with a solid face, no
mask, was playing in the front yard. Our neighbor Bob that lived
below our house, a tried and true hunter that is a born in the
mountains man, saw her and came visiting in a hurry. He was very
disappointed when he got there, yet amazed. He came running to
catch that little bear cub we had in our front yard or so he
thought. We all still laugh about that one. For those of you
that do not know, that is a true compliment for a chunky 3 month
old blue pup.

Two years time invested in a pup to
teach him to fit into your world is a bigger investment than the
