Well it has been just over a month since
our little “bouncer” showed up. He is turning into a terrific little
dog!!! First we had to get through the name thing. We finally
settled on Kyo. Getting everyone to agree was quite a feat. He has
had his first vet visit and is the picture of health. He weighed in
at 18 lbs. and the Doctor thought he looked great.
We are working on some training things. He has sit, down, stay and
shake in his repertoire so far and he catches on quickly. Aside from
the morning walks he really enjoys chasing a soccer ball around the
back yard, fetching and chewing on sticks and of course teasing the
old dog in the house. All in all, things are going very well. He is
a “head turner” with everyone asking “What kind of dog is that?”
followed quickly with “He is sooooo cute!”.
Thanks again for
all your help. We are very happy with our little boy.
Thanks. The
Makoski family. (NY)

Dear
Vickie,
I want to
thank you so very much for
helping me through a difficult
time when I lost my companion of
almost 10 years. Your
tenderness to people as
potential owners of your dogs
and the dogs themselves shows in
more ways than one. I contacted
you to help me find a new
companion for my broken heart.
You listened to what I was
looking for and watched for me
in what you had coming up. I
wanted a boy and a girl so they
would have companionship when I
was not around. As it turned
out I was happy to take 3 of
your pups from the same litter.
They are everything I could have
wanted. Their personalities so
different and yet complementary
of each other. I have my
lookout, my energy and my
sweetheart. I am attaching a
picture of them out in the back
yard of their new home. It is
hard to keep them from chewing
on sticks. We have a lot of
them. The little red boy
follows my grand daughter around
like they have been best friends
for years. I am telling every
one I know about your dogs. You
know how to breed them. Thank
you again.

“ I would like to compliment
Sapphire Kennel on their excellent breeding program and customer
service. I recently purchased a red male and he is outstanding. His
conformation and disposition are exceptional. He is smart,
confident, independent , affectionate and great looking. Vickie and
Bill Keller were a pleasure to work with and they treat you like
family. I had my last ACD, “Jynx”, for 15years, and although not
suitable for everyone, they are a wonderful breed. I would highly
recommend Sapphire Kennels to anyone searching for an ACD.”
Sincerely,

Little Miss
Bailey came to us via Sapphire Kennels. She is
such a blessing. Sue did extensive research on
the web and ended up calling Vicki at Sapphire.
We are so glad she did, as Bailey is an
outstanding puppy. We have a 6 ½ year old blue
heeler, Bodie who is very dominant. We got her
at four months old. We also had a 4 year old
red heeler, Boomer, who we sadly, had to put
down in June. We ordered Bodie straight from a
kennel in Oklahoma , lucked out with her…all the
cattle dog instincts. Boomer we got from a
local kennel in New Jersey , at 5 months old.
His sister and brother were picked up as soon as
they got there. Unfortunately, he missed out on
5 months of care and attention, which ultimately
worked against him. We miss him dearly, and
were going to wait quite a while before we got
another pup.
Sue surprised
us with Little Miss Bailey, who is a God send
for us. She is adorable, smart, loveable,
nosey, very loyal, and very healthy. Her lines
must be stellar, as she is cattle dog all the
way. We have no doubt she will be bigger than
her sister, as she is more stout than Bodie was
at there age. She is also very dominant and
strong willed, which we love. We are very
satisfied with the quality, customer service
from Sapphire Kennels. They answered all Sue’s
questions and made Bailey’s trip to Cheyenne a
quick and pleasant one. Sapphire extends an
on-going, open door for any questions, concerns,
or issues with their dogs. We will call Vicki
and Sapphire if we ever desire another cattle
dog, and will certainly recommend them to our
friends. We look very much forward to seeing
Little Miss Bailey grow and mature!

"Attached is a picture of four
of our grandchildren with our new puppy. They all decided
to name her Sydney. We are taking her to our vet tomorrow.
She has been a good little girl."

Vickie is the nicest
breeder I have ever met. She takes a lot of pride in her dogs as she
should. She knows breeding and heelers. Put the two together she has
some awesome dogs. She loves her animals and takes exceptional care
of them.
She is someone I will continue to buy my dogs from. When I
get my dogs from her, I know I have the best out there".

Mrs. Keller,
Hello from back in North Carolina! My name is Jessica Cox and I am
a former customer of you and your husband, Bill when ya'll lived in
Fletcher. My husband, Jeremy and I purchased Harley from you back
in March of 2004. She is still a joy and has lived up to every
expectation that we had for her. Well, except for one.....we still
haven't got her to jump in the bed of the pick-up truck to ride to
town...she jumps in the front!!! How's that for a smart dog! She
is also just perfect around our two children and is very watchful of
them and the house. We love her and couldn't think of life without
her. Back to the reason for this e-mail... we would like to talk
with you about possibly getting a "friend" for Harley and the
family. We are looking for a male this time (Harley has been fixed,
so puppies are not going to be a problem.). You did an excellent
job of helping us find her and would like to see what we can come up
with for the new member of the family. Please write back and let us
know what we need to do to get the ball rolling on a new Heeler!
Thanks and God bless!
