Our shipping terms are simple as you will see
below. Again, we are a farm family returning to a rural life,
striving for simplicity and self sufficiency. No legal jargon, etc.
If you have any questions or suggestions we are always open.
General Information:
All pups are bathed and groomed before leaving
our home without exception. We have a puppy kit and paperwork
for each pup including a small bag of their kibbles.
You are welcome to send us toys, blankets, etc
for your pup. I have let folks know in the past, they can send a
t-shirt or a simple receiving blanket with their scent on it and I
will place this with your pup the last 24 hrs. This helps the pup
bond more quickly. It will be familiar with yours or your families
scents when you pick it up or it arrives to your home. (Blanket,
T-shirt Instructions - Blankets must have a closed weave, no fringe,
buttons, etc. A receiving blanket is the best thing you can get. A
t-shirt works well. Rub the blanket on your neck and arm. It does
not take much. Dogs live by scent. You can rub a small area on
another pet to let the pup get a little bit of that scent. Seal the
cloth in a zip lock bag with your name on it and send it by mail if
you like. This really works. We were doing this almost 30 yrs ago
with our yorkie. Bill would put my housecoat down for her when we
traveled and she would still be there all curled up when we got
back. Mama marked the spot to stay. Notice he knew better than
putting anything of his down. OK- Cowboys!!! Now that I have posted
this no under drawers allowed. I know who to tell about this. Some
of my rodeo guys will try to put something over on me now and then.
I'm serious here guys! Serious as a heart attack. I'll get ya back!)
Also, we are happy to get the vet check and
health certificate on any of our pups before you take possession if
you would like. We ask for reimbursement for the vet charge, usually
around $25.00
Puppy Pick up:
Personal pick up is always encouraged but not
possible for the majority of folks. Although, we have had families
drive in from all around the country. Pups are groomed and ready to
go when their family arrives. We just ask you call ahead to give us
a heads up on your arrival.
Delivery:
When we are in Little Rock or Texarkana we are
happy to meet folks there with their pup. It shaves off five to six
hours on a trip for most people who are coming some distance and we
are only too happy to do this at no charge.
We do make special deliveries for a fee. This
price varies according to location and out of pocket expenses.
At this time we are developing a route to the
four corners of the country to meet folks with their pup for the
same shipping fee of $250. Of course this depends on the number of
request and the logistics of the whole thing. I emphasize this is
not an attempt to move our pups in bulk. We are not about that. It
is about getting our pup to their new families in
spite of the environmental elements and the price of fuel. As simple
as that. Folks do come up with alternative ideas when there is a
need and that is what we are trying to do. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated. We have this kennel and it is our
responsibility to see these babies have a home or we just won't do
the kennel for the public.
Shipping By Air:
We do ship with major airlines and work
hard to ensure a safe, happy delivery of your pup when we do ship.
We ask $250 for shipping. This includes the air
fare, crate, vet check & health certificate. (Health
certificates must be issued within 10 days of flight.) Also,
included is our time and expense of a round trip to the airport in
Little Rock. This is a 250 mile round trip. We take this opportunity
to buy our supplies, etc and will combine the trip. We live in a
very rural area, but do not pass this expense to our customers.
What we do ask is that if the air fare causes
the out of pocket fees for shipping your pup to go over the $250
that you will reimburse us the difference. I will let you know and
you can simply send us the difference at that time. It is risky on
our part I know, but we try to only place our pups with folks we can
trust to begin with. If we can't trust someone at this point there
is no need in doing business.
